Autumn Exhibition – Shades & Shadows

Today is the first day of the West Norfolk Artists Association autumn exhibition at Marshland St James village hall. A charming venue with a light, airy hall where the work is displayed and an excellent café in an adjoining room.

I have painted three new watercolours for this show, which you can see here. They are all inspired by views that I have seen on walks around my local West Norfolk area.

There will be at least 100 artworks on show at the exhibition, which is entitled Shades and Shadows. I’ve tried to embrace that theme in these three paintings. Do call in and have a look if you are in the area, Marshland St James is a village not far from the town of Wisbech. The address of the venue is Marshland Hall, Smeeth Road, Marshland St James, Norfolk, PE14 8JB.

The exhibition runs from today until next Sunday the 1st November. Open each day 10am – 4pm. Free entry and plenty of car parking on site. If you would like to meet me at the show, I am on duty on Saturday 31st October from 1pm until 4pm.
