Data Privacy Statement

 

The Purpose of this Statement

If you contact me via my website or in any other way, I am required to follow certain rules when handling your contact details and any other information about you. These rules form part of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) which become law on the 25th May 2018.

Your Data

The data that I hold consists of your contact details, in other words your email address and your postal address if you've supplied it to me. I also record details of any paintings or other purchases, or any tuition you've taken. If you want to know exactly what data I hold that relates to you then you can ask me and I am legally obliged to inform you within one month.

What is my data used for?

Your data is only used for the purposes of contacting you to tell you about exhibitions, tuition events or other art activities that I think you might be interested in. I do not share your details with anybody else.

Where is my data kept?

Email contact details are kept on my Gmail contacts list which is password protected. Other details are kept in paper form in a secure location at my studio and on my computers which are all password protected.

How long do you keep my data?

I retain the information listed under Your Data above until such time as you ask me to delete it or until such time as there is a legal obligation on me to delete it.

Deleting your data

At any time you can ask me to delete your data and I will do so. This will mean that you will not receive any further communications from me unless you subsequently make further contact with me.

My website uses cookies to track visitor numbers but they do not record any personal information.
